🏗️🔥 How to handle client love (feedback)
A celebration of hackathon prices, messy builds, kind words, and the beautiful chaos in between.
Hello chaotic builders! 👋
Small milestone, big joy:
Two other Substack users shared my newsletter (!!), it got a ton of likes, a couple of comments, and most importantly, it means someone is reading. And liking 🫶. Yihuuu!
Oh, and… I hit 100 subscribers! 🥳
Now let’s dive into the chaos.
🔥 The chaotic topic
This week I reconnected with something I had forgotten I love: building websites. Yep, those little digital houses that products live in.
I’ve been slowly working on my own brand every day, and recently I added testimonials to my site. Next up? Showcases, real projects from clients and my own, with links to buy or explore.
It was kind of emotional looking back and realizing, “Damn, I actually helped people.” These little moments, the kind words, the impact, are worth capturing.
So, here are two goodies to help you do just that:
1️⃣ A simple Notion template to collect your “Wall of Love.”
Yes, yes, I’m not a Notion power-user, I mostly use it like a dusty filing cabinet (Sorry
Situation → A short summary of what happened
Comments → My comment on the situation
Screenshot → Screenshot or image of the kind words
Date → The date I received it
2️⃣ The testimonial feedback form I send to clients:
Because if you’re not asking, you’re missing gems.
Can I use some of the text you're about to share on my website? (Always ask!)
What has it been like to collaborate with me?
What has been the best part of working together?
How did my work impact your project or goals?
What could be improved next time?
I mix answers from the first three to write the testimonial, and I keep #4 for my own growth as a professional. ✨
Stay subscribed! I’ve got years worth of resources that I built for myself or for clients that deserve more than to gather dust in a forgotten folder. 🤲 Sharing is coming.
🎓 What I learned this week
I’ve been back to coding, thanks to Lovable.
Lovable is amazing for first designs, but editing those later? Eh, not so much. So I used Windsurf to tweak the code directly (yes, I still do some hand-coding 👩💻).
Quick update on VidOptimizeAI, my tool for smooth YouTube uploads:
I figured out how to connect Stripe subscription updates using Supabase Edge Functions! And… I even went to a Supabase event here in Taipei.
Oh, right, I live in Taipei. Don’t think I mentioned that before 😅 One subscriber said she’d love to hear more about life here, and I’ll try to share. I usually attend at least one tech event per week. The scene here is wild, super techie, though more blockchain than no-code… I’m working on changing that. I’ve already talked to a local café to host a no-code gathering soon. 🤞
🏗️🔥 C.I.P (Chaos in progress)
Freelancing
Built dashboards in Bubble for an online academy so teachers can track student progress.
Reconnected with Framer (it's very fun to build websites with it!) I’m applying to their expert program and offering a special price for a one-page website (design + dev) for 999$. Already got 2 clients. Want in? First come, first served. Fill this form.
Indiemaking
Entered 2 contests and 1 hackathon. I recorded a video before the hackathon, so surprise, I made it into the top 100 out of over 3000 submissions. Crazyyy. You can see a sum up in this video I shared on Linkedin.
Big update for Niusleters (the tool for newsletter sponsorships in the Spanish market): We removed Stripe Connect. Creators no longer need to link Stripe to get started. Just sign up and boom, start pitching or receiving proposals.
For VidOptimizeAI, here’s what’s left:
Fix a bug in subscription updates
Add an option to include channel description for better context
Solve long video handling (AI request limits = tricky)
The website’s ready though, that’s what got me an honorable mention in the contest! 🎖️
Training
Taught a NocodeHackers online class about creating products by writting prompts with Lovable. Got so many sweet messages, straight to the Wall of Love (Yes, the one I have shared in this newsletter).
Currently negotiating two trainings: one on Zapier Agents for lawyers and judges (wild, right?), and another on advanced Lovable builds.
Had a great 1:1 with my friend Olga de Andrés (check her newsletter in Spanish about working remotely from NY) In just 2 hours, she solved Stripe-related in Make issues she can now reuse across clients. If you ever feel stuck with a no-code tool or automation, you can book a private training with me here.
🛠️ Tools to make chaos
This tool is to blame for why this newsletter is late 🙃 I recorded a full video on it! (Of course, I used VidOptimizeAI for the title, description, and timestamps)
It’s called Raycast, and it's basically a super-fast app + extension launcher for your laptop.
Why I love it:
Jump from task to task like a chaotic pro.
How I use it:
Check the video I spent quite a bit editing it (yes, it’s blurry because I filmed it on my iPad… lesson learned). Send some love if you enjoy it.
And that’s it for this round.
I really need to write more often or these are going to get way too long 😅
See you next time!
Happy building in chaos! 🏗️🔥

This is one of my favorite newsletters🌷 amazing work amiga
If it works, and fits the purpose… I don’t have anything to say 🤣.
That’s the beauty of Notion. You can do whatever you want with it 🙌.
